Back in December, I gave a talk for the Beaty Biodiversity Museum about bogs. As challenging as it is to watch yourself in a video, it’s an extremely good tool to improve your speaking skills. I haven’t watched it thoroughly yet, so if you have comments on things I can improve upon or did well, let me know.
I found this talk to be really fun. It had a mix of people from kids, adults, professional biologists, and amateurs. I felt like the audience really valued my time and were extremely focused and conscientious.
Bridgette, a past presenter in this series, wrote up a great blog about tips and tricks that I referenced frequently in planning. I am so thankful she put the information out there.
